X_Ite-X3D-Browser Test Page

X_Ite X3D Browser is an Javascript and WebGL based solution to displaying X3D or VRML in a browser.

VRML within browsers required plugins that modern browsers no longer allow. Standalone VRML Players are available but require a copy of the VRML file to be downloaded.

The new solution will work in all newer browsers.

Some examples can be found on these pages.

Some other models to try
An Isohedral Deltahedra VRML (presented full screen) model produced with Antiprism with the command: iso_delta -c f -s 3 | off2vrml > model.wrl

X_Ite Browser can handle these file formats. Here are some examples that were converted from a minimal cube (cube.off)
GLTF filetype (Kronos Group)
GLB filetype (Kronos Group) (Binary)
OBJ filetype (Wavefront OBJ)
PLY filetype (Polygon File Format or the Stanford Triangle Format)
STL filetype (stereolithography)
X3D filetype (converted from OFF by meshlab)
Cube.off (for reference, conversion source file)

In addition it is able to work with SVG files. Here is a "cube" svg from sampled from the internet.
SVG filetype (Scalable Vector Graphics)

The generation of OFF and VRML files was done with Antiprism.
